Operational buyer with Tactical ambitions

At Technobis High Tech Solutions, we develop and deliver cutting-edge equipment as turnkey solutions both as prototypes and in series production. Our multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electronics, and software engineers works closely together to serve clients in the MedTech, BioTech, and PharmaTech industries. We operate a hybrid procurement model, where each business unit is responsible for its own results and manages a decentralized procurement budget. The Procurement department (Purchasing & Logistics) is responsible for designing and executing the strategic, tactical, and operational procurement processes, as well as managing inventory across the organization. Your Profile As our Operational-Tactical Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing both day-to-day purchasing operations and contributing to supplier base management. Knowledge and desired experience

  • At least 5 years of purchasing experience in a technical or production environment.
  • 1–2 years of tactical procurement experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems; experience with ISO 13485 is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured, results-driven approach.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experienced with ERP systems such as Odoo, Ridder, SAP, or similar, and proficient in Excel.

Your tasks

  • Following a thorough onboarding program, where your focus will initially be on operational procurement to help you understand our supply chain, your responsibilities will gradually shift toward the tactical level. Key tasks include:
  • Managing the Request for Quotation process from initiation to completion, including negotiations.
  • Supporting the development of service level agreements (SLAs), framework contracts, and pricing agreements.
  • Contributing to sourcing strategies for both new and existing suppliers.
  • Maintaining and evaluating supplier relationships based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Playing an active role in the continuous improvement of our procurement processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with guidelines within our Quality Management System.
  • Reporting procurement KPI’ s and providing advice on inventory and cost optimization.
